PS 4 Rumors

With every passing day more and more rumors are being generated by the ever-productive online rumor mill with regards to the release of Sony's PS4. The PS4 is the working name given to the PS3 sequel expected to hit shelves within the next 12-18 months. There has been no official word on the console from developers Sony yet, but this of course hasn't stopped wild speculation that development will begin soon which is founded on several factors:

New Xbox Feature

After significant speculation over the life of years, Microsoft has finally spoken on record about his upcoming Xbox. In an interview with The Verge focused on Microsoft Outlook service new email (embedded below), the general manager Brian Hall name-dropped a "New Xbox."

The mega review sites undeservedly dish out hype and praise like clockwork to the GTAs, Halos, Final Fantasies, and Metal Gears of the world. No game encompasses such a ridiculous amount of hype as GTA does. GTA3 was an admittedly a revolutionary game for its time because it started a whole new genre: the sandbox game. It should be praised for originality and pushing videogames to new places. However, the GTA formula and actual gameplay have always been average at best.
